About AetherHaus

A space to pause.

AetherHaus was created out of a reverence for the old traditions of European Sauna & Cold Plunge culture. There are no “performative wellness trends” here. Only a genuine desire to create a sense of hospitality and care for our guests while supporting their Sauna & Cold Plunge experiences.

AetherHaus is our home. We are here to host our guests while tending to the space. The magic of our Sauna & Cold Plunges will naturally create for a restful experience. On top of this, we believe that deeper relaxation can be achieved through a caring sense of hospitality and customer service.

"Beautiful amenities, well finished and super friendly staff. The place is large enough to explore but small enough to be comfortable and cozy."

What is a modern bathhouse?

A modern bathhouse keeps the architecture of the old idea, hot room, cold water, somewhere to rest, and lets the rhythm of the city around it shape the rest. Ours is built for Vancouver, on Davie Street, in the West End.

Phones stay in lockers. Voices stay low. Sit or lie on a towel inside the sauna, move at your own pace between rooms, and leave the space the way you'd want to find it. The room works because everyone in it is paying a little attention.
