Aufguss

Aufguss

Our Haus Aufguss is inspired by the German tradition of Aufguss. Our Haus Aufguss is done in the dark which makes it less of a performance, and instead sets the stage for more of an inwards journey.

What to Expect

We use psychedelic inspired music to carry the experience while our guides deliver a constant stream of heat while using towels and fans to move the heat around. Guests are transported through stillness, challenge, release, and emotion as the intensity of the music and heat build throughout the experience. Yes it can get quite hot, but there are also sections in our Sauna that cater more towards the beginner Sauna user.

The Flow

Music and heat build together guiding you through the stages of reflection, activation, and release.

The Ritual

Rooted in the German Aufguss tradition, each round of pours on the stove generates more heat while our Guides continuously move the hot steam around.

The Heat

As the journey unfolds, the accumulation of heat begins to thicken and every pour towards the end can awaken the skin’s sensations.

"The Aufguss ritual was unlike anything I have ever experienced, and I’m German! I can’t wait to come back, time and time again. This feels like a home away from home; so happy and lucky that this opened in our city.”
